child with sensitivities loves velvet pencils
My child wouldn't write because the pencils were too slippery, or too cold, or too something... we tried a velvet pencil and away my child went. Now we stay stocked up because my child will rarely use anything else and it's been 8 years! The velvet on these pencils stays put under normal and harsh wear and tear. They sharpen like usual pencils. The velvet does Not gum up pencil sharpeners. They have been the best tool for my child's writing for school, journal and drawings.
